Market America’s Marc Ashley Selected as 40 Under Forty Award Winner

Greensboro, NC (Feb 27, 2009) – Marc Ashley, chief operating officer of Market America, was the recipient of the Triad Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty award at a ceremony held on Thursday Feb 26.

Recognizing 40 of the Triad’s top leaders in business, winners were selected for leadership, community involvement, and career accomplishments. Specifically, Ashley was selected by the Triad Business Journal because he "has built Market America into an Internet retail giant. Through his philanthropic endeavors, he helps strengthen our community and encourages others to give."

Ashley was one of the original management team members of Market America when it was founded in 1992.
